Do you take my insurance?

At Mindful Psychiatry, we do our best to make your access to care as easy as possible. While we bill your insurance as a courtesy, we ALWAYS advise that you check with your individual insurance plan and company for your individual benefits to determine your expected cost and it is your responsibility to be aware of what your insurance covers.

We recommend taking the time to do this as some specific insurance plans have high deductibles or do not have mental health benefits.

FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY

**** To assist you in determining your cost - if you are in a plan with a deductible or co-insurance, please reach out and we are happy to provide the commonly used codes so you can check with your insurance to have an estimate of the cost for your visits. Keep in mind, the exact codes used at your appointment may differ depending on the length and complexity of your appointment. *****

Our providers are unfortunately NOT in network with any Medicaid plans or most Medicare Advantage Plans.

If your provider is NOT in network, some insurances will remit payment partially or fully for out-of-network services. Our billing specialist can discuss out-of-network options.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

60 min spent with provider, 15 min for chart review/charting/send rx

15 min Medication Visit

$140

10-15 min spent with provider, 5 min for charting/send rx

30 min Medication and Brief Counseling Visit

$180

20-25 min spent with provider, 5 min for charting/send rx

Follow up appointments longer than 30 min

*Providers do not typically have availability to offer appointments on an ongoing basis for longer than 15 or 30 minutes. Should follow up appointments require complicated medication changes and last longer than 30 minutes, see below

45 min Medication and Brief Counseling Visit

$225

35-40 min spent with provider, 5 min for charting/send rx
