Our office and providers use the SpruceHealth platform to provide secure patient messaging for communication and telehealth. The office will reach out with instructions and a link a few days before your appointment.
MESSAGING
For messaging or calls, normal business hours to reach our providers are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9 am to 5 pm. Any confidential questions or information can be sent through Spruce, and your provider or our staff will answer.
As a reminder, this becomes a part of your permanent medical record and messages cannot be edited or deleted.
Non-urgent questions will be answered during normal business hours, when your message is viewed.
If you have an urgent question outside of these business hours that needs addressed before your next appointment, please mark your message as Urgent or Soon.
VIDEO VISITS
When using Spruce for your telemedicine appointment, make sure you have a good internet connection. If you've already downloaded and set up an account, login to the app on your device or go to the webpage link below about 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment time and make sure to allow pop ups and enable audio. When your provider initiates the video call, you should receive a notice or banner as it rings.
The link below is for users with an existing account to "Login" to Spruce.
Refill requests should be submitted through your Spruce account and we request 2 business day notice to process refill requests. Make sure to provide all relevant information including which medication and what pharmacy. This is the quickest way to receive a refill.
If you have any problems submitting through Spruce, you may call our office at 321-638-6818 and leave a message under refill requests.
A response will be sent to you when your refill is completed. Keep in mind, refill approvals are contingent upon following your current treatment plan. It may be necessary to have an appointment before a refill can be provided, especially if it has been 12 weeks or longer since your last appointment, or you are requesting a controlled medication.
