Jenifer Raymond, APRN is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background spanning emergency medicine, nursing, and mental health care across the lifespan. She began her career in emergency services, working for 16 years as a paramedic and 911 dispatcher, where she developed a strong foundation in crisis assessment, rapid decision-making, and compassionate care during high-stress situations.
Jenifer later transitioned into nursing, gaining experience in oncology, mother-baby care, and psychiatric nursing, including work on forensic and child and adolescent units. This breadth of experience allows her to approach mental health care with a well-rounded, patient-centered perspective that considers both medical and psychosocial factors.
With years of experience as a PMHNP, Jenifer treats patients ages 10 and older, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. She specializes in the evaluation and management of ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, trauma-related conditions, OCD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
Jenifer is known for her collaborative, down-to-earth approach and strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and understood. She works closely with individuals and families to develop thoughtful, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
